We went to play on CivilWar and the server started downloading "goatex" a ery large file 28Mb plus and it was slow. Possibly a re-direct issue? And, shouldn't this be only done if we were going to play "Goatswood" since I'm presuming that what this and other later files are related to. Oh no...the download for FalloutIsland is slow too. Perhaps it's just me. |

Some times in our adjustments of maps we will use some textures from other maps. This is probably what you are experiencing in a download on goatex in different maps. On a side note ... no downloads should take extremely long (considering the file size), if it does - please let us know. As you mentioned MB, this is usually a redirect issue where the file was either forgotten or lost in the redirect somewhere. I would like to know if you or anybody comes across these files, that way we can fix these slow downloads. So post the file names if you see any. Thanks! |
